Just to say...
Haifa - Bahai shrine.
OFFLINE

Haifa is one of the most beautiful sities in Israel. My favorite place, which is also the most beautiful (in my opinion) is the Bahai shrine. Beautiful gardens on the hill create a sense of a mysterious place. This shrine is sacred to Bahai, which gather from all over the world to work there. There are beautiful trees there, many kinds of flowers, and foiuntains. Most of them are closed during the day and you need to register in order to come in. There are also parts you cannot visit at all, and you can only see it from the distance, like the beautiful white Bahai library, accessible only to librarians.

You'll never forget Bahai, once you visit it.

Jewish religion.
OFFLINE
I'm not really connected to Jewish religion, because I grew up in Soviet Union, where it was forbidden. But now I think I'm beginning to go back to my roots and discover new things about it. I think that Bible is an interesting source for all kinds of discoveries, literature and historic, academic - but I didn't feel any strong personal connection to it. But the more I live in Israel, the more I feel attached to it and to the issues it brings up. I think that itshould be the source of spiritual connection to Jewishness, and not only historical or literary. I hope someday I would feel it so I'll be able to say I really belong to it, and discover my roots in spiritual sense.
